Breakfasts ideas - Yoga Retreat® Spain

BREAKFAST IDEAS & SUGGESTIONS

 Ideas For Your Self- Catered Breakfasts
Using the ingredients that we have available in the yoga house.
Breakfast is between 6.30am and 12pm ONLY, please do not snack our ingredients throughout the day 

Apple and Pear French Toast (Vegetarian/Vegan)

How to Make It
  1. Mix 1 egg and a cup of Milk (you can use alternative milk) with a pinch of salt in a bowl
  2. Heat up a pan with a splash of olive oil
  3. Dip the bread into the mixture, cover the whole break
  4. Place into the heated pan (medium heat) cook until the bread browns slightly, then turn over and do the other side
  5. Place the French toast on a plate, slice up some apples and pears to place on top of your toast, sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with honey 

Spanish Toast (Vegetarian/Vegan Option)

​How to Make It
  1. Toast your bread as normal
  2. Grate 1 tomato add a splash of olive oil and a pinch of salt, pepper optional
  3. Spread the grated tomato on your toast, additional toppings: slice thinly some cheese and/or jamon serrano

Granola Yogurt and Fruit (Vegan/vegetarian)

How to Make It
  1. In a bowl lay side by side a portion of granola, yogurt (soy option available) and our seasonal fresh fruit from the farmer’s market. Additional topping: honey and a sprinkle cinnamon 

Eggs and Toast (Vegetarian)

How to Make It
  1. Toast your bread – egg options; scrambled, poached, fried, boiled (boil for5 to 7 minutes for a runny center, 12 minutes for hard boiled)
Optional toppings: jamon serrano, cheeses.

Oatmeal and Bananas (Vegan/vegetarian)

How to Make It
  1. Heat up your milk of choice in a small pan, can also be made with spring water, until it boils
  2. Add a cup of oatmeal per serving, cook until the oatmeal expands and has a creamy texture about 3 to 5 minutes
  3. Add chopped bananas or any seasonal fruit of your choice, extra toppings: add a splash of cold milk for a creamy texture, honey, cinnamon, a springle of brown sugar can also be added for a crunchier texture, or a dollop of Jam for sweetness

Continental Breakfast

How to Make It
  1. slice up some cheese, jamon Serrano, chop some tomatoes, and a side of different jams
  2. Toast a portion of bread

Breakfast Smoothie (Vegan/vegetarian)

​How to Make It
  1. Blend our seasonal fruits of your choice with either Milk for a creamy texture (soy and oatmeal options) or spring water. It is best of the milk or water is put in the fridge overnight. Add honey for sweetness or yogurt for a creamier texture. You can also add oatmeal for a thicker heartier smoothie

Fruit Salad (Vegetarian/Vegan)

​How to Make It
  1. Chop up your favorite fruits into small bite size pieces from our season fruit selection. Drizzle with honey for added sweetness
