Cancellation Policy:
Here at Sun Salute Retreats, part of the yoga is working with one of life’s difficult truths – hat regardless of our plans, life happens. Regardless of whether you know you will miss time in a program and/or regardless of whether life prevents you from joining the program you plan on participating in, we will always attempt to work with you, so long as you notify us of your needs in advance of your program’s start.
1. Reservation
To reserve the place on this retreat the student must accept this cancellation policy and submit a non-refundable deposit specific to the retreat.
Also accepts that the reservation holds his/her space on the retreat but he/she should wait to purchase the flight tickets or any other travel expenses until he/she gets the go ahead that the retreat will take place.
2. Payment
The student accepts that payments must be made at least 90 days before the event takes place. Final balances are due at least 90 days before the beginning date of the retreat. For reservations made within 90 days of the departure date, full payment is required when the reservation is accepted. If payment of the balance of the retreat price is not received by the required time the student assumes that he/she will not be participating on the retreat and cancellation charges in accordance with condition three will apply.
3. Cancellations
If the student wishes to cancel his/her participation on the retreat he/she must notify in writing. Therefore cancellation will take effect subject to the following: If cancellation takes place more than 90 days prior to the departure date, any payments made will be refunded minus the deposit. If cancellation takes place less than 90 days prior to the retreat's start date, 100% of the retreat price will be forfeited. Any amount forfeited, which has not yet been paid by me, will be recovered from he/she as a debt due and payable.
4. Changes, Postponement, Cancellation or Delay
The student accepts that the retreat may suffer changes to any aspect if it is necessary to do so due to conditions that are likely to be hazardous or dangerous or due to any other adverse or threatening conditions whether political or military or terrorist or otherwise or if an act of omission of a third party prevents the retreat or the aspect of the retreat being undertaken in accordance with his/her booking or for any other reason considered necessary.
In the event of any change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay under this condition, the student acknowledges that he/she will have no right of refund of the retreat price in whole or in part and no right to claim compensation for any injury, loss or damage or other additional expenses incurred by virtue of the change, modification, cancellation, postponement or delay. He/She accepts that the retreat may be cancelled due to any government travel warning or advice, or any change in such warning or advice. In this event, he/she understands that his/her travel insurance may compensate him/her depending on the circumstances.
5. Force Majeure
The student accepts that if the trip leader is prevented (directly or indirectly) from performing any of their obligations by acts of God, strikes, trade disputes, fire, breakdowns, interruption of transport, government or political action, acts of war or terrorism, acts or omissions of a third party or for any other cause whatsoever outside the trip leader's reasonable control, the trip leader will be under no liability whatsoever to the student and may either cancel the retreat or take any other action as specified in condition six.
6.Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being accepted for this reservation the student release, waive, discharge, hold harmless and agree to indemnify the trip leader from all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, emotional trauma, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, loss of profits, as well as consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise which may arise out of or occur during his/her travel in connection with the retreat or any activities conducted in conjunction there within unless caused by the willful negligence or wrongful act. Regardless of the situation or circumstances giving rise to the claim, the student waives any claims he/she has, or may at any time has, against the trip leader, the student agrees, by accepting the additional inherent dangers and risks associated with the retreat, not to make any claim against or seek any compensation from trip leader in respect to any personal injury, illness or death suffered by him/her or damage to or loss of property sustained by him/her as a result of his/her participation in the retreat including without limitation, any extracurricular activities the student may engage in during the retreat, whether or not included on the retreat.
